Itinerary:

Day 1 : Fes - Midelt - Merzouga

We begins our 4 Days Fes to Marrakech Tour by picking you up from the hotel and begin your journey. Drive across the Saiss plains to Ifrane, known for its unique modern architecture and as a popular winter destination for locals. Continue through the Cedar forests to the Berber town of Azrou, nestled in the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop briefly to see the Barbary Apes and take some photos. 

Next, we head to Midelt for lunch. A key commercial and agricultural hub, Midelt is famous for its mining industry and apple farms. In the early afternoon, we descend into Ziz Valley, renowned for its lush oasis of date palms and scattered Kasbah villages. As we approach, the desert’s influence becomes evident with a striking change in scenery. 

Late in the afternoon, we reach Merzouga and check into your lodge, situated at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy dinner and overnight at your Merzouga lodge.

Day 2 : Merzouga - Erg Chebbi

on the second day of your Morocco desert luxury tour, meet your guide for an adventurous day in the Merzouga area. Drive to the village of Khamlia to meet local Berber nomads, enjoy Gnaoua music, and share a cup of mint tea. Hunt for fossils in the area and experience thrilling sand bashing with your skilled driver.

In the mid-afternoon, join your camel caravan for a scenic ride across the color-changing dunes. Stop at the top of a dune to watch the stunning sunset on the horizon before continuing to your Sahara desert camp.

Dinner will be served under the stars (weather permitting), followed by a lively Tam Tam drum session with entertainment from local nomads.

Day 3 : Merzouga -Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges

Today’s adventure begins with a visit to the holy town of Rissani, the birthplace of the founder of the current Moroccan dynasty. While there, You can also explore the local date market and its various delicious dates that the Tafilalet region is famous for.

Next, we head to Tinghir, a former military stronghold during the French occupation, and a Berber village once home to a large Berber Jewish community until the 1660s, when most of them immigrated. The local Berbers inherited silver jewelry craftsmanship from the Jewish community, and visiting their shops is highly recommended.

Meet your local guide for a walk along the oasis and Enjoy watching locals herding goats or working in their fields. The walk concludes with a stunning view of the Todgha Canyons, a series of towering 400-meter high limestone river gorges.

Day 4 : Dades Valley - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

Take the opportunity to visit an artisanal rose water distillery. From there, continue along the Road of 1001 Kasbahs toward the Skoura Oasis.

Walk to Kasbah Amridil, one of Morocco’s best-preserved kasbahs, now a private museum. If you’re interested in Berber culture, architecture, and ancient irrigation techniques, a guided tour of the Kasbah is highly recommended.

Next, head to Ouarzazate for a brief stop before arriving at the nearby Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks. Its unique earthen architecture has been featured in numerous biblical epics and blockbuster films.

Meet your guide for a walk across the river to explore the village. After lunch at a local café, we continue toward Marrakech, driving through the High Atlas Mountains and over the Tizi N’Tichka Pass.

By late afternoon, we arrive in Marrakech, where your 4 Days Fes to Marrakech Tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel, riad, or preferred location.
