On the second day of our Private Marrakech desert trip our driver from Sahara Camel Trips will pick you up at 8:30 a.m. to begin your Sahara desert from Tangier to Merzouga, traveling through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll pass through Berber villages and stop in the scenic city of Ifrane, often called “Moroccan Switzerland.” We’ll then continue to Azrou, famous for its cedar forest, where you can spot monkeys, and head to Midelt for a lunch break.
Next, we’ll drive south to Erfoud, known for its fossils and the annual dates festival, passing through the stunning Ziz Valley. We’ll stop to take in a breathtaking panoramic view of the oasis.
In the afternoon, we’ll arrive at the impressive Erg Chebbi dunes, where you’ll enjoy a 1 to 1.5-hour camel trek, stopping atop the dunes to watch the sunset. You can also try sandboarding or capture beautiful photos of the landscape. Afterward, we’ll head to our Berber camp in Merzouga.
You’ll be welcomed with tea and have time to relax before dinner. After enjoying a traditional Berber meal, you can experience a Berber drumming performance. End the evening by stargazing and spending the night in a nomadic tent.

Next, we’ll head to the famous Todra Gorge, located at the base of the High Atlas Mountains and a popular destination for rock climbers. Afterward, we’ll take a lunch break. In the afternoon, we’ll travel to Boumalne Dades, and by evening, we’ll reach the scenic Dades Valley.
On the final day of our 4 Days Morocco itinerary we continues towards Marrakech, passing through Kalaat M’gouna, the Rose Valley, and the Skoura Palm Grove. We’ll visit the Kasbah Taourirte and, optionally, the film studios in Ouarzazate.
