On the first day of your 13 Days Imperial Cities Tour from Casablanca, we will pick you up from the airport, port, or your accommodation in Casablanca. Our first stop will be the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco, located on a promontory with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. After some free time for lunch, we’ll continue to explore the city, including the beautiful Casablanca Corniche.
Today, we will drive along the coastline to Rabat, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and the current capital. In Rabat, we will visit the key highlights of the city, including the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of Oudaya. After some free time for lunch, we will continue our Private Casablanca desert trip north to Asilah, a charming seaside town.
On the third day of our Morocco desert luxury tour we depart from Asilah and drive along the coastline to Tangier, also known as “the bride of the north.” Located in the northwest, Tangier sits at the point where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean near Cape Spartel, in the Strait of Gibraltar. Upon arrival, we will explore the city, visiting the famous Hercules Cave and Cape Spartel. After some free time for lunch, we will drive inland to Chefchaouen, passing through the city of Tetouan and the scenic Rif Mountains. We will make stops along the way to enjoy panoramic views.
Continuing our Luxury Sahara desert trip, we will explore Chefchaouen, also known as Achaoun, which means “horns” in Berber. Located in the Rif Mountains in northwest Morocco, the city is renowned for its white and blue-painted buildings and alleyways. We will begin by strolling through its charming old Medina, where you’ll find beautiful blue doors and whitewashed walls. After some free time for lunch, in the afternoon, you can hike up to the Spanish Mosque, situated on a hilltop offering a stunning panoramic view of the entire blue city.
After breakfast, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the beautiful alleyways of Chefchaouen, the blue city. Then, we will drive to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its remarkable preservation. The site features stunning mosaics, ancient pillars, and archways scattered throughout. After touring the ruins, we will continue our 13 Days Morocco itinerary, driving 30 km to Meknes, the Ismaili capital and one of Morocco’s imperial cities. In Meknes, we will visit key attractions such as Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal Stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum.
On the 6th day of our 13 Days Imperial Cities Tour from Casablanca we will dedicate the day to exploring the highlights of Fes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and its cultural and religious hub.
We begin by visiting the Royal Palace gate, followed by a tour of the well-preserved medieval Medina, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will visit the iconic Blue Gate, or Bab Boujloud, the entrance to the old Medina, which is a maze of narrow alleyways and streets. Inside the Medina, we will explore the Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine Fountain, the Tanneries, and the Quaraouin Mosque and University, the oldest university in the world.
Next, we’ll leave the Medina to visit the Jewish quarter, also known as “the Mellah.” In the afternoon, we will drive to an ancient fortress that offers panoramic views of the Medina and the entire city of Fes. Finally, we will return to your Riad.
After breakfast, we continue our Morocco desert luxury tour heading south through Imouzzer to Ifrane, a city known for its cool climate, snowfall, and alpine-style architecture, earning it the nickname “the Switzerland of Morocco.” Following our visit to Ifrane, we head to the Cedars Forest, home to the Barbary macaques. Feel free to feed them as you explore the forest.
Next, we continue to Midelt, where you’ll have free time for lunch. From there, we drive to Merzouga, passing through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and along the scenic Ziz Valley, with stops to take in the panoramic views.
In the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara Desert of Merzouga, where you’ll switch to camels and begin crossing the vast sandy dunes. We’ll make a stop atop a high dune to enjoy a stunning desert sunset before continuing to the desert camp. The camp combines traditional nomadic tents with the luxury of a hotel, where you can enjoy Berber drum music, dance around a campfire, and gaze at the star-filled sky. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Waking up early in the morning is essential to witness the breathtaking sunrise in the heart of the desert. Afterward, you’ll have some free time for breakfast. Then, you’ll return to Merzouga on camels, where your driver will be waiting for you.
On the 8th day of your 13-Day Imperial Cities Tour from Casablanca, we dedicate the day to exploring the Merzouga region, which is filled with incredible sites, from vast sand dunes and wild lakes to mines, fossil areas, and beautiful oases—perfect for various outdoor activities.

After breakfast, we depart from the desert to visit Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains a key trading hub in the region, featuring a large and souk.
After exploring the souk, we continue our Luxury Sahara desert trip to Erfoud, where we’ll visit a workshop specializing in fossilized marble. We then drive through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad before reaching the Todra Gorges. Carved by the Todra River, these spectacular red cliff-sided gorges are a haven for rock climbers. Feel free to wander through the gorges and take in the stunning landscape. After some free time for lunch in a local restaurant, we proceed to the Dades Valley, passing through Boumalne Dades. We’ll make necessary stops to view the “Monkey Fingers” rock formation and take in the panoramic views of the Dades Valley.

After some free time for lunch near the Jemaa El-Fna square, we will continue our Private Marrakech desert trip with visits to the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest in Marrakech, and the beautiful Majorelle Garden. Finally, we will transfer you to your accommodation, where you can enjoy some free time to explore Jemaa El-Fna on your own.

Upon arrival in Essaouira, formerly known as Mogador, we will explore this historically significant coastal city.
