Itinerary:

Day 1: Casablanca

On the first day of your Morocco desert luxury tour we will pick you up early from the airport, the port, or your accommodation in Casablanca. As the economic hub and largest city in Morocco, Casablanca offers a wealth of experiences. Our first stop will be the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in the country, situated on a promontory along the city’s west coast, with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. Afterward, you’ll have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the city, including the impressive Corniche area.

Day 2: Casablanca – The capital – Chefchaouen

Finally, we will head to Fes for an overnight stay in a Riad.

Day 4: Full day in Fes

The fourth day of our Fes Sahara desert itinerary is dedicated to exploring the most prominent landmarks of the city of Fes with a local guide. As one of Morocco’s imperial cities, Fes is also the country’s cultural and religious center.

Our day begins with a visit to the Royal Palace gate, followed by a tour of the well-preserved medieval Medina, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will explore the famous Bab Boujloud, also known as the Blue Gate, which serves as the entrance to the old Medina. Inside, the Medina reveals a maze of alleyways and streets, where we will visit key sites such as the Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine Fountain, the Tanneries, and the Quaraouin Mosque and University, the oldest university in the world. 

Next, we will leave the Medina to explore the Jewish Quarter, also known as the Mellah. Finally, we will drive to an ancient fortress for a panoramic view of the Medina and the city of Fes.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga

We drive south through Imouzzer to visit Ifrane, a city known for its cool temperatures, snowfall, and alpine-style architecture. It’s often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Next, we head to the cedar forest, home to the Barbary macaques. Feel free to feed them as you stroll through the forest. We then proceed to Midelt, where you’ll have free time for lunch.
